    Nicole Henderson, RN, BSN is a Resilience and Mental Health Coach, Founder and CEO of Unstoppable Nicole, LLC, and of the non-profit Break Up To Build Up, Inc. She is the #1 International Best-selling author of “Take It Back - Your Strength, Your Mindset, Your Finances.” Her most recent book, “Break Up To Build Up: Learning To Build Resilience From The Pieces” is a #1 Best-seller in 10 categories on Amazon. With a focus on single mothers like herself, Nicole teaches women how to push through the toughest setbacks, obstacles, and roadblocks they face day-to-day through empowerment workshops and educational programs. Whether from the inner-city or the board room, Nicole has assisted countless women in implementing actionable strategies that help them recognize their self-worth, build confidence and self-esteem, create stronger bonds with their children, and so much more! Additionally, she trains Corporations, their High-level Executives and Supervisors on how to support these working moms which in turns helps cultivate a work-life balance/ work-life harmony where both entities are successful.

    Nicole graduated cum laude and holds a BSN from Hampton University. Theophany University honored her with a Doctor of Humanities, Honoris Causa in 2021. She is a veteran who served in the United States Army and a Registered Labor & Delivery nurse and currently an Emergency Room nurse for the U.S. Department of Defense. She has a total of 24 years of nursing experience. Nicole is a Certified Master Life Coach, Certified Master Spiritual Life Coach, Certified Master Business Coach, Certified Resilience Practitioner, and Women’s Wellness Mindset Specialist. Additionally, Nicole offers a group Resiliency Course for women as well as a training program for individuals who desire to become a Certified Life and/or Spiritual Life Coach. Nicole has appeared on NBC Palm Springs “Tipping Point” and has been a key-note speaker at the Harvard Faculty Club, as well as featured on several radio shows and podcasts. Nicole has also served as a senior panelist for several conferences internationally. Nicole was recently featured in Authority Magazine, where she discussed tools for resilience. Her personal motto is "Prayer, Perseverance, Purpose."

  • Secretary, Board Member

    Annette has been a single mother for the past 13 years. She is an Air Force veteran who served 11 years on active duty and is currently working as an ICU and Flight Med Registered Nurse. Annette is also a member of the National Black Nurse Association, pursuing a Master's Degree to become a Nurse Practitioner. In addition, she is an assistant coach for Newport News Youth Soccer Team (ages 13-17) and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

    Annette is passionate about helping single mothers gather information to pursue higher education and providing them with the necessary resources. She can assist with filling out FASFA applications and applying for scholarships. Annette is also knowledgeable in nursing theories related to Covid-19 and can educate about hygiene practices for adults and their children. She can also provide education on preventing cardiac disease and stroke.

    Annette's nursing practices focus on family wellness, promoting health and preventing diseases in the family. She is always eager to help and make a positive difference in the lives of others.

  • Treasurer, Board Director

    Kendrea was previously a single mother, but she is now married. She has experience as both a foster mom and adoptive parent. Kendrea provides a safe environment for the children of single mothers to express themselves and be heard. Additionally, she holds the roles of treasurer and board director.

    MyOutboxx Virtual Services LLC, partners with small businesses to offer a tailor-made package of professional administrative services. She is an Author, Speaker, Educator, Minister-In-Training, and Special Needs Parent Advocate. Additionally, Sherline is a Dual Certified Coach and holds a Counseling Certificate from St. Joseph’s College.

    CEO and Founder of Mourne Fortune Enterprize LLC and VINI MANJE

    Brummell J McQuilkin Sr. is a retired Navy veteran with over 20 years of service. He discovered new cuisines and cultures while traveling with the Navy. Brummell believes that food brings people together no matter where they are in the world. This gave birth to Chef Quiik and owning his first food trailer Vini Manje, which translates to “Come Eat.” Brummel provides catering services for personal, community, and corporate events as a private chef.
